A history spanning 3 centuries
The two buildings that make up the Country Resort today have been the central residential core of the Le Sodole estate since the 1700s. Over the centuries, the property has belonged to noble Tuscan families such as the Franceschi and the Torrigiani Malaspina, until 1976, when it was acquired by Count Aldobrando degli Azzoni Avogadro, the current owner.
The restoration
Today, after a long and careful restoration, 14 comfortable apartments of various sizes have been created, able to accommodate up to 6 people.
The Country Resort Le Sodole offers a spacious swimming pool surrounded by greenery and a small wellness center with a sauna, steam room, gym, and massage room.
Activities
Inside the property, guests can also enjoy the golf driving range affiliated with the Italian Golf Federation and a charming room where the restaurant “Le Fonticchie” is located, along with wine tastings from the Azzoni Avogadro cellar.
